Lee Group's Fascist Suppression of Union Leader Denounced

Pyongyang, July 30 (KCNA) -- The South Headquarters of the Pan-national Alliance for Korea's Reunification issued a statement on July 27 in denunciation of the puppet group's fascist suppression. The statement recalled the Lee group's arrested Choe Sang Jae, chairman of the Press Trade Union, by invoking a fascist law, adding that this is lashing the people into great fury. The repressive actions taken by the Lee regime and the "Grand National Party" against the people and the nation can never be tolerated, the statement held, stressing that the organization would wage a more dynamic struggle to force Lee to step down and the GNP disband itself. The statement called on the people to wage a stubborn struggle to foil the conservative ruling forces' scheme to stay in power and the campaign to suppress the people and thus put a definite end to the dictatorship of Lee and the GNP.
